For families of transgender children, travel has become challenging to say the least. States have passed egregious laws in the past several years that impact access to medical care, bathrooms, privacy, etc.

 

Before you travel, it's wise to know the laws in each state through which you traverse. Pay particular attention to laws that restrict bathroom access--especially airports, rest areas, etc.
